 Tonight on MiWeek:

  • STATE LEGISLATIVE AGENDA:  Three leaders in the state legislature spoke with Stephen on his WDET radio show during the Mackinac Policy Conference.  In this excerpt, they talk about pending legislation that will protect abuse survivors in light of the Larry Nassar MSU case and a bill that would force Michigan Medicaid recipients to work.

  • PRIMARY POLLING:  Nolan caught up with Detroit News pollster Richard Czuba at the Mackinac Policy Conference, and he gets the scoop on the latest polling numbers for the GOP and Democratic gubernatorial candidates, as well as the U.S. Senate race.

  • ME TOO MOVEMENT:  Christy sat down with three women leaders — Congresswoman Debbie Dingell, Consumers & CMS Energy President & CEO Patti Poppe, and University of Michigan Law Professor Barbara McQuade — to talk about the current Me Too Movement and the need for more women in leadership positions in the workplace.

  • DETROIT DESIGN:  A sneak peek at this weekend’s DPTV documentary, “Detroit Designs the World,” focusing on Detroit’s unique architecture.
