MLK Day at the Wright Museum / Hate Crimes Rise

On the next American Black Journal: The Charles H. Wright Museum of African American History is hosting a commemorative breakfast and daylong celebration for the Martin Luther King holiday. We’ll get the details on the family friendly activities and special guests at the event.  Plus, an FBI report shows hate crimes spiked in Michigan in 2016.  We’ll talk with the head of the Michigan Department of Civil Rights about this alarming trend and the people most affected.
