Reformed: Memoir of a Juvenile Killer / John W. Barfield Interview

On the next American Black Journal, we’ll have the incredible story of Mario Bueno, who turned his life around after a childhood filled with drug abuse, violence and a prison sentence for killing a drug dealer at the age of 16. Today, Mario is a college graduate, an author, and the founder of a non-profit organization that assists returning citizens.  Plus, we’ll remember the life of African American business pioneer John W. Barfield who passed away this month at the age of 90.
