Ford Freedom Award / “The Booster”

On the next American Black Journal, the Ford Freedom Award celebrates its 20th year with the theme, “Black Girl Magic.” We’ll find out more about this annual event that recognizes the achievements and contributions of African Americans and raises money for the Charles H. Wright Museum. Plus, a new book details the untold story about one of the biggest college basketball scandals in history, involving University of Michigan’s Fab Five and booster Ed Martin
