Aug 13, 2020
On the next American Black Journal, community groups are gearing up for the citywide tradition that attracts thousands of volunteers: ARISE Detroit! Neighborhoods Day. The annual event takes place on August 4, and Stephen talks with ARISE Detroit! Executive Director Luther Keith and two community partners about this year’s neighborhood projects and celebratory activities. Plus, women business owners from across the country convene in Detroit for a chance to introduce their companies to purchasing representatives from major national and international corporations.
