Asbury Park: What does a better life look like?

Asbury Park is a street on Detroit’s westside. It’s also the title of a new movie by local filmmaker, Ken “Legend” Williams. The film looks at mental illness, police brutality and other complex issues faced by young people in the inner city. Williams provided an opportunity for Detroit youth to appear in the movie. Here’s a preview, followed by Stephen Henderson’s conversation with the filmmaker.
