American Black Journal – “My Girl” 55th Anniversary / Detroit Restaurant Business

On the next American Black Journal,

Stephen talks with former Detroit Lions cornerback Ron Bartell, owner of the popular Detroit restaurant Kuzzo’s Chicken and Waffles, about the growing restaurant scene in the city and the challenges in the industry of finding and keeping good staff. Plus, the song that first put Motown’s Temptations at the top of the charts turns 55 years old. Two of the original group members’ children and the founder of the National Rhythm & Blues Hall of Fame are here to talk about the anniversary celebration for “My Girl.”
