Detroit, a pandemic and the census

A sort of whipsaw out of Washington as President Trump, who extended the Census 2020 deadline because of COVID-19 to October just moved it up to the end of September.

Detroit made Census 2020 a priority these past eighteen months, trying to get response numbers up because they’re tied to federal funding.

Victoria Kovari is leading the charge and talks to One Detroit’s Bill Kubota about challenges of getting more people to participate in the middle of a pandemic.
