Where will metro Detroit’s dining scene be in 6 months?

Governor Whitmer has lifted the stay-at-home order, and, beginning June 8th, is allowing restaurants and bars to reopen at half capacity. Where will metro Detroit’s dining scene be in 6 months? Detroit Free Press Restaurant Critic, Mark Kurlyandchik, thinks that 25% to a third of restaurants might not make it in the long term. He talks with Christy McDonald about how COVID-19 has brought out everyone’s inner home cook, the fate of fine dining, and the precautions restaurants are undertaking in light of reopening.
