Christy anchors a special edition of One Detroit featuring staff members — Daphne Hughes, Zosette Guir, Bill Kubota and Will Glover — introducing some of their favorite stories in 2019. The selections include a visit with legendary Detroit burlesque dancer Lottie the Body, a primer on the massive fatberg discovered in Macomb County, the female DJs that rocked the stage at the Charivari Detroit Music Festival, and spoken word poet Kane Smego’s one-man show at the Detroit Public Theatre.
