  • COVID-19 Infection Rates: Where We Are
    One Detroit‘s Will Glover talks with Dr. Nick Gilpin, Medical Director for Infection Prevention for Beaumont Health about COVID infection rates, what to expect with COVID transmissions going into flu season, and boosters. 
  • The COVID Long-haulers
    More than a year and a half later, so many millions stricken and millions still suffering from COVID-19.
    They’re the COVID long-haulers, dealing with long COVID many months after catching the virus. One Detroit’s Bill Kubota talked to some of the local experts about long COVID along with some who are trying to shake an illness that has attacked their bodies in some very different ways. 
  • Women Leaving the Workforce
    Last month, over 300,000 women over the age of 20 left the workforce–experts say this departure is in part driven by lack of accessible and affordable childcare. Cheryl Bergman, CEO of the Michigan Women’s Commission, talked with Christy McDonald about the challenges the pandemic continues to present for working women and pilot programs Michigan is funding to increase access to child care.
