American Black Journal – The Best of 2019

On the next American Black Journal,

Stephen takes a look back at some of the notable interviews and topics on the program during 2019. Guests include political pundit Donna Brazile, Detroit rapper Big Sean, award-winning tap dancer Savion Glover, artist Charles Bibbs, and renown bassist Robert Hurst. Topics also include a controversial exhibit about slavery and Thomas Jefferson at the Charles H. Wright Museum of African American History, a look at The 1619 Project focusing on 400 years of slavery in America, and the construction project that led to major struggles for African American business owners on the Avenue of Fashion.
