COVID313 Talk: Clarifying Unemployment Benefits

Changes are continually being made to Michigan’s Unemployment Insurance as the pandemic continues. In June, the seeking work requirement was put back in place, but people are able to apply for a waiver if they are still unable to work because of an issue related to COVID-19. Tony Paris, lead attorney at the Sugar Law Center, is helping people navigate the often confusing world of unemployment insurance. In the latest COVID313 Talk, Paris helps answer some frequently asked questions about benefits.
