Performing artists are looking for workarounds when their audiences can’t get together to see or hear them these days.

The Dearborn Symphony was on a roll with new conductor Steven Jarvi until the coronavirus hit. 

One Detroit’s Christy McDonald talked to Jarvi and Dearborn Symphony President Sandy Butler this week about what’s happening and how they cope as their 58th season has just stopped in its tracks.
